Network Design

Basic Networking
Ever tried collaborating on project when your team members couldn't share files easily? Our technical crew, led by CTO Steve Dannaway, have designed many different types of networks with many different capabilities. Some companies want small point-to-point networks where the users can transmit files between each other. Other companies want networks with centralized file servers. However, most networks we design have a mixture of both with multiple redundancies built-in. Our crew will assess your situation and current networks you have in place and will advise you on the next steps to take and what you'll need to get there.

The rapid growth of broadband access has created the need for advanced networking and security applications. Do you have multiple computers that need secure broadband access? Our crew is well-versed in the advanced networking technologies including routers, firewalls, proxies, and many of the new e-appliances. The equipment we've worked on in the past includes most models of Linksys and NetGear switches, routers, and wireless access points, Cisco routers, BlackBox DHCP enablers, Griffin Technology USB/LAN extenders, Apple Airports, and McAfee WebShield Appliances. We've even used older computers to replicate similar services for customers on a budget.

Design Example
Our most complex design to-date consisted of a local area network that connected three separate buildings. The network needed to support data and voice traffic and be secured from outside interference. Over the course of six months, our crew designed and oversaw the installation of a mixed network consisting of cat-6 ethernet and a hybrid (multi/single mode) underground fiber optics loop with voice and data extenders that connected the three buildings. Additionally, the design included three separate broadband connections (xDSL, T1, dual-T1) each with a separate firewall, a clean dynamic-DNS system with centralized DHCP services, a centralized local area network (LAN), three distinct virtual LANs each with access to the main LAN and access to private network attached storage devices.

Video Delivery Services
In addition to our data and voice expertise, our technical crew also has designed wide area networks (WANs) for the transmission and broadcast of real-time television programming. Our experience in all facets of the television industry helps us bridge the gap between the production side and delivery side of modern media. With the use of high-speed dedicated fiber optic connections and advanced remote switching, we can enable your company to relay any type of video to anywhere in the world with just a few micro-seconds delay.

Other Services
With our over ten years experience running datacenters, we have the experience to tackle any issue you might have. From installation, configuration, and administration all of the major servers on all major platforms, we can and will answer all of your problems quickly and professionally.
